Speaking & Facilitation

Communities tell all kinds of stories. Most community stories can be grouped into the following three categories:
  • Stories that are told outside of the community for advocacy purposes.

  • Stories told between communities to build relationships and networks.

  • Stories told within a community to reaffirm a common set of values and wisdom.
Do you know what kind of story best fits your community or organizational needs? Do you know what media is the best way to tell that story? People tell all sorts of stories about their life, relationships, work, and communities that all have a different application in community organizing. TWM staff will work with you and your organization to conceptualize the best story for your advocacy/organizing needs. This includes identifying your audience, script development, and appropriate medium to tell your story (web, digital story, etc.).
